Relocating a pet internationally can be stressful—especially when the animal is older, large, anxious, or not well suited to a long journey in a cargo crate.
Elevair arranges owner-accompanied private air charter solutions that may allow suitable pets to travel in the aircraft cabin, remaining close to their owners throughout the flight.
Whole-aircraft private charter provides the greatest flexibility. After a charter is confirmed, compatible shared capacity or an empty-leg opportunity may sometimes become available, subject to the route, schedule, aircraft and pets involved.
Every journey is individually evaluated, including the route, aircraft, documentation requirements, pet temperament and compatibility, and the owner’s ability to supervise the pet safely throughout the journey.
A More Comfortable Way to Travel Together

Owner-Accompanied From Start to Finish
Your pet travels with you—not separately in cargo. Suitable pets may remain close to their owners throughout the journey, subject to the aircraft, route, and safety requirements.

A Considerate Alternative to a Long Crate Journey
Private air charter may be a more suitable option for older, larger, anxious, or otherwise sensitive pets for whom a long conventional crate journey is a concern.

Private Charter Flexibility
Flights can be planned around your route and travel window. Where pets, owners, dates, and routes are compatible, a shared flight may help reduce the cost per client.
How Pet Relocation by Private Charter Works
Start With a Conversation
Send us a WhatsApp message with your proposed route, timing, pets travelling, and the journey you are considering. We can then arrange a voice or Zoom call.
Assess Suitability
We consider your pet’s size, temperament, travel needs, owner supervision, and the aircraft and route to determine whether a cabin-based private charter solution may be suitable.
Review Route & Requirements
We review the route, airport options and timing, and identify the veterinary and entry requirements that need specialist confirmation.
Make the Journey Happen
Elevair turns the plan into a seamless flight—managing the aircraft, schedules, private airport handling, contingencies and real-time support through final arrival.
Planning Your Pet’s Journey
Every relocation begins with a conversation—not a booking form. Tell us about your pet, proposed route, timing, and priorities. We will assess whether a private charter, or a compatible shared-flight possibility, could be appropriate and explain the next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can my pet travel inside the aircraft cabin?
Suitable pets may be able to travel in the aircraft cabin with their owners. This depends on the pet’s size and temperament, the aircraft, route, operator requirements, and safety considerations. Each journey is assessed individually.
2. Is this a completely crate-free pet relocation service?
Our aim is to avoid a long cargo-crate journey when a suitable cabin-based charter solution is available. However, a carrier, crate, leash, harness, or other restraint may still be required at airports, during ground handling, by the aircraft operator, or by government authorities. We cannot promise that every stage will be crate-free.
3. Must I accompany my pet?
Yes. This service is designed as an owner-accompanied journey. The owner remains responsible for supervising and controlling the pet throughout the trip and must follow all crew and safety instructions.
4. Can multiple pet owners share a private charter?
Potentially. When routes, travel dates, owners, and compatible pets can be matched, Elevair may consider a shared-flight arrangement. Shared flights depend on safety, pet temperament, aircraft capacity, operational suitability, and the agreement of all participating clients.
5. Which routes can Elevair arrange?
Elevair can coordinate owner-accompanied private charter journeys into, out of and between countries throughout the Americas. This includes journeys involving the United States, Canada, Central America, Ecuador and the Caribbean. Broader international routes may also be considered, subject to aircraft availability, range, operating permissions and destination requirements.
6. What information do you need for an initial assessment?
We request your proposed origin and destination, preferred travel window and flexibility, number of travelers, and each pet’s species, breed, size, age, temperament, medical or mobility considerations, and experience around other animals. Photos and approximate weights are also helpful.
7. Does Elevair handle veterinary and import documentation?
Elevair coordinates the aviation journey from departure through final arrival. We do not provide veterinary certificates, vaccinations, permits or pet import and export approvals. These remain the responsibility of the client and the appropriate veterinary or pet-relocation specialists. When needed, we can help identify suitable specialists and coordinate with them on the aviation requirements
8. How much does pet relocation by private charter cost?
Pricing depends on the route, aircraft, travel dates, number of passengers and pets, airport and handling costs, and documentation or ground-support requirements. A compatible shared flight may reduce the cost per client. The first step is a conversation so we can assess the journey and explain realistic options.
